OVERVIEW OF LIBRARY
The Library plays a unique role in the intellectual life of the College. It offers individual and collaborative learning space as well as rich print collections and research assistance.
There are two libraries in the college. These are; the Nursing library which has a seating capacity of 70 and the Midwifery Library which can seat up to 35 students.
Currently, the two libraries have a total collection of over nine thousand (9000) books and over hundred (100) journals. The collection covers all subject areas taught at NMTC. The library is equipped with computers which are connected to the internet for research purposes.

To maintain a library that is fully equipped with the latest information resources, tools, and technology. Our goal is to provide students, tutors, and nurses with the necessary resources to easily access information and knowledge, in order to make significant contributions to the delivery of healthcare in Ghana

Our vision is to establish a world-class library that sets the standard for excellence in healthcare education and research in Ghana. Our goal is to provide a comprehensive collection of resources and expertise that will enable students and tutors expand their knowledge, skills, and capacity to serve the healthcare needs of Ghana and the wider global community.
GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS
- All students are encouraged to use the library resources judiciously and responsibly.
- Students are encouraged to take advantage of the borrowing, and duplicating facilities at a cost to be determined by the institution.
- The following are prohibited in the library:
- food and drink
- noise making
- Unauthorised visitors
- use of mobile phones
- Brief case, bags, etc. should be placed in the cabinet next to the reference desk.
- Users should submit any book, files and materials they are carrying while leaving the library for inspection.
- No student is allowed to deface, tear, reserve or hide any library book.
- Books consulted in the library should be left on the desk after use.
- Students should register with the library in order to obtain a library card.
