Both type of rooms are fitted with beds, wardrobes, writing tables and chair. There are resident housekeepers who take care of the hostels and make sure students are comfortable. In order to forestall fire out breaks, cooking in student’s room is forbidden.
Dinning
The college has with effect from 2013/2014 academic year was given approval to feed the students by the cafeteria system. Students of the institution now feed themselves. Students can purchase food from the canteens on the campus or several others that are within the Korle-Bu community.
Students are not allowed to cook at the hostels but students can keep a kerosene stove for warming their food but NO GAS or ELECTRICAL stove are allowed.
Transportation
A shuttle bus service and taxis are readily available from and to the main gate of Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, making the commute easy.
There are two types of hostel accommodation:
NMTC Korle-Bu is home to many students. Since the College is a residential one, all students are expected to live on the campus but few students occasionally opt to be day students.
